🌀 A Long Time Coming 🌀
Another vision years in the making is finally becoming reality — we’re beyond excited to host IDBH (Colin Cook) from Minneapolis.
A central figure in so many creative communities, Colin is a true powerhouse whose presence and artistry have inspired growth and connection wherever he goes. Our long-standing friendship has always been rooted in evolution, collaboration, and shared vision — and this night embodies that journey.
As many of you know, he’s a building hand at THE GREAT BEYOND, where this concept was first forged. Now, we’re bringing it to life — right here, in our city and in our space.
But there's more... we have two of our favorite local supporting artists sharing what they do best: Robonix and Lorey Mur 🖤
Join us as we travel through the sound and expression of IDBH, and celebrate the realization of another dream that’s been a long time coming. 🌀

🌀 IDBH 🌀
IDBH, aka Colin Cook, based in Minneapolis, MN, is an artist and producer known for his innovative and genre-defying approach to electronic music. Throughout his career, Colin has been drawn to a more corrosive sound style, which has led to a rich and diverse background in punk, metal, hardcore, and industrial music. In 2024, he launched the IDBH project, marking a new chapter in his artistic journey. The project heavily draws on his roots in heavy, aggressive sounds but reimagines them through the lens of deeper, more atmospheric electronic styles.
IDBH's sound is defined by an intricate blend of dub techno, hypnotic rhythms, and industrial textures. Colin’s signature groove-laden percussion is paired with immersive atmospheres, creating a sound that feels both grounded and otherworldly. His work explores the intersection of sound design and ambient movements, often weaving cinematic moments into his tracks. His approach to sound is as much about texture and space as it is about melody, inviting listeners into a world where music creates vivid emotional landscapes and provokes thought.
In early 2025, Colin launched TRNM RECORDS, an imprint focused on the concept that "art makes a statement." The label's ethos revolves around curation over sheer content creation, emphasizing the deeper meaning behind each release, as well as creating art that reflects the current social and political landscape, serving as both a representation of the era and the artists within it. Colin has remained true to this philosophy, releasing a diverse range of work both on TRNM and through various independent singles and remixes.
Notably, his music has appeared on Chicago-based label DINGNING23, further cementing his reputation as a rising force in the underground electronic scene.
Whether through his powerful percussion-driven compositions or his ambient sound explorations, Colin Cook continues to push boundaries, creating music that speaks to both the mind and the soul—with the hope of finding common ground between curators and dance culture.
