During the 2024 edition of Freerotation festival in Wales, Nono Gigsta played a set that represented something of a before/after moment as far as DJing is concerned - ask Sorted crew who were there - it was memorable to say the least! In Nono's prismatic selecting and intricate mixing you can hear the deep thinking of her academic research in music culture and literature. But more than any of that, you can dance, because that’s what a Nono Gigsta set is designed for: no matter what genre, what speed, what brain-melting juxtaposition she comes up with next, you’re gonna be winding your hips, clicking your heels and banging your head like a metal freak before the night is out.
